Introductory climbing session in Chamonix and the Alps

Program:

Day 1:  RDV 8:30am at the Gaillands, just outside Chamonix. Introduction to the activity, learning the technical bases of climbing, ie roping up and belay. End of the activity at midday.

Day 2:  Revision of the previous day's tuition.  The location will have been decided the evening before.

Day 3:  The learning process of being the leading climber.  One whole day.

Equipement:

• climbing shoes
• Suitable clothing
• rucksack 30 ltr
• food and drink

The technical equipment is supplied by the guide, except for the climbing pumps which can be hired from the specialized shops.  If you possess your own equipment, please bring it with you.

• The goal of this training course is to introduce you to this wonderful activity whilst learning the basic techniques
• Each day we will endeavour to change locations within the Chamonix Valley
