Program

  • Day 1:  Departure from Chamonix around 10:30/11:00 and car to Valsavarenche. (1hr30). Ascent to the Chabod refuge, approximately 3 hour's walking time.
  • Day 2:  Early morning wake up call around 5:00am.  One hour's walking time to the Lavecchiau glacier and continuing towards the summit after approximately 3 1/2 hours.  The descent will be made taking another itinerary.  Return to Chamonix by car towards the end of the afternoon.

Beginner, good walker, regularly practising a sporting activity.

Price includes guiding fee and supervision, and the loan of certain equipment.
Does not include,  half board refuge accommodation, lunch, drinks in refuges
The guides accommodation to be divided bet ween participants.
A transport fee may be demanded.

Added information:

  • Having a good acclimatisation at the altitude will make this ascent being much easier.
  • It's why, doing one day of preparation before is recommended.
  • This preparation can be  "vallée blanche crossing"
