Ski the Vallee Blanche

This off piste itinery in the high mountain environment is a truly memorable descent, enabling one to ski with good powder conditions, often until the month of May.

Program

RDV At the departure point of the Aiguille du Midi cablecar.

Ascension to 3842m altitude

Descent along the ridge with the skis attached to the rucksack.

Clip in the skis and ski the chosen itinery, which is determined by skiing ability of the group, snow conditions and your expectations.

At the glacier terminal, it will be necessary to carry skis for 20 minutes or so to join either the Montenvers station or the start of the descent to Chamonix via Les Mottets.

Equipment

Rucksack with food and beverage. ARVA, goggles/sunglasses. Ski clothing adapted to mountain conditions and changing temperatures. Harness and/or crampons supplied by the mountain guide.
