Program

  • Day 1:  Ascent to the Albert 1er refuge via the cable car and chair lift to the Col de Balme 2100m and taking the walking path which leads to the refuge.
  • Day 2:  Departure from the refuge just before sunrise, with a 15 minute or so walk on the rocky terrain before reaching the glacier. Cramponning up and walking upwards for approximately 3 hours and watching the granit towers absorb the 1st sunrays of the day, with the reward of an exceptional panorama from the summit
  • Descent for the same itinerary
  • Arrival at the Tour village around 2pm

From 120€/pers.

Price includes guiding fee and supervision, and the loan of certain equipment
Does not include, the Col de Balme return ticket, half board refuge accommodation.
The guides accommodation to be divided between participants.
Envisage return Col de Balme ticket 30 Euros, and refuge half board 60 Euros
